muffler removal, I was tired of the stock muffler and couldn't afford anything at the time, with all 4 cats still on it doesn't sound bad though.

Sold it and got a GT!!!!!

Sorry I had to throw that in there and I am just kidding. In all honesty I have a special place in my heart for the V6. Keeps the entire model series alive and especially the newer ones are actually very very nice. IMO, the V6 Mustang nowadays is pretty much Ford's version of a 370Z.

A V6 can benefit greatly from pretty much everything the GT can honestly. With the newer ones you get the mileage and still get 300hp. Exhaust, gears, supension, intake mods, shifter etc... I test drove one back when the 3.7L first came out and was very impressed. Tint is always a good option for a driver as well.

I had those in a beat up 91 fox lol. That thing was such a pile of **** but I had so much fun in it.

For all you guys doing the shorty antenna, any reason you aren't just deleting the antenna altogether and installing an amplified antenna inside the body somewhere?

The ones I buy are under 10 bucks, and I don't really listen to the radio so I'm all good.

I don't either to tell you the truth. Good phone dock and internet radio. I have no clue why anyone even needs OTA radio these days. Half the stations are on IHeartRadio or Pandora/Slacker/PlayMusic are basically the same thing as satellite radio. If Slacker would figure out a way to fix their Android app that they royally effed up about a month ago.

I need to get one but cops are smart and they don't leave the radar on. Good for the highway I guess but if you are being an *** on the back roads the cop will hear you coming and just sit there and flick on the gun as you go by at 100mph and then impound your car.

And if you are going to mount one, do it right and mount it up by the mirror out of the way. Bug into the dome light power to make it really clean. The wire coming up the dash and then the detector right in the middle of the windshield looks like crap.

100 on the back roads just a tad bit of overkill for me lol. You're right about mounting it, I have seen one's mounted incorrectly and just don't like that look. I more of the factory can't tell I installed look haha

Ya the cops in my area just sit there with it on haha, especially this one right next to a school zone, he pulls over at least 20 people a day, but keeps his radar on the entire time.
