You can adjust the A/F ratio with a handheld tuner like SCT.

I've been doing exactly that for the last few days. I have a BAMA 91 octane performance tune that was pinging like crazy. So I started pulling timing by 1 degree then drove it to see if it helped. I pulled a total of 4 degrees timing, and now it is running great with zero pinging.

Yeah, my BAMA tune sure left a lot to be desired. But I'm glad you can adjust your tune with the handheld. It must be hard to get tunes right if you don't have the car in front of you, but my tune was pretty far off.

Well of course they did. That's how they make money. Go buy a can of carb cleaner and a can of seafoam. Pour half the seafoam in gas tank. Take off tb and spray insides clean with carb cleaner. Just saved you $280.

How do you know you are running rich? If you have a tune datalog and send your tuner the logs.
