Tuners

Ok please help me understand tuners. What do they do, how do they work, why do I want one, does it cause the engine light to come on, will the engine ever come on, can I reset it back to the factory settings, does it void my warranty and which is the best

More power. More mpg. You plug them in and go through a few steps. Light won't come on you can actually take it off if anything comes up. You can change it back to stock tune. Will void warranty.
