Mexican car to american?

I found a car I really like out of Laredo and the guy has has the papers he says from Mexico showing that it's all legal just from Mexico lol. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with switching it over to an American car. I'm sure this task isn't easy but just thought i would ask.

Thanks

It's an American car. 1970 Mustang. The car is in the US already he just has all the Mexican papers for it. I see no US documentation. So I don't hVe to worry about actually coming across the border it's already here.

Then I guess you'd just have the paper work to worry about. I wonder if the car was originally titled in the US?
