Should i get this mustang?

It's a 05 v6 and it is green. It is a upgrade I would say from my car Bc it is 10 years newer but I just don't know about the green paint. I won't be able to paint it a different color for awhile and green isn't that manly. What are y'all's opinions?? I have a 95 gt by the way

Id honestly mod yours, or sell and buy a newer gt. I think going from a v8 to a sixxer you'll be disappointe unless its one of the newer sixxers.

I have modded mine a good bit. I got most bolt ons. All the relatively cheap mods plus I work far away and that gets double my gas milage

You should probably charge your phone.... lol, just thought that was funny.

On a serious note. It all depends on what you think of the car. I personally don't like that color one bit, and i am a hardcore leather seat person, i absolutely hate cloth.

If you really like the car, go see it in person and test drive it.

Honestly though, unless you love it and can get it for super cheap i wouldn't because of those miles. Because 160k is a lot of miles, stuff may start breaking left and right and it could turn into a money pit pretty quickly.

Oh, and green is such a manly color. Why else would they put it on the classic Bullitt driven by STEVE McQUEEN, and then put it on the re make models?

Whats your budget? And goal? Mpg you can find some nice boosted 4cyls that get decent mileage and fun. Such as the srt4, cobaltss, etc... Just throwing options out there. Hate to see you give up a nice bolt on gt.

Based off that video.... Don't get rid of it, suck up the costs of gas. Its not that terrible. But just don't get rid of that car.

A stock 95 GTs gas mileage should be in the low-mid 20s if you keep your foot out of it. Even a modded one should get pretty good mileage if you don't drive like an ***. I would not trade for that car, yours is at least a known quantity for you. And if gas mileage is your thing trade this car for some sort of 4 banger econobox that gets 30-40mpg. I had a Del Sol at one point that had red paint faded to about pink, rust spots, AC didn't work but damn if it didn't go 400 miles on a 10 gallon tank and dead nuts reliable doing it.

I really like the body style on that model. I want to mod it and see what I can do with it. My main concern was the color but everyone seems to like it.

That is without the cats off either. When I can get a day to go to the muffler shop and take them off I will post a video

Once you get a v8 you never go back. Sold my v6 for a v8. I get better gas mileage than I did in my sixer. I average around 20 mpg in my v6 and about 23-24 mpg in my GT.

STEVE McQUEEN just never made it out of the closet. Hollyweird had to be politically correct.

The 4.0 is not known for stellar mileage. Expect 18-20.

If you like that body style wait until you can afford a 3V. Modding that v6 is seriously an effort in futility not to mention the mileage on it.

+100, don't expect much from the 4.0. Its an awesome motor that will run forever, its super strong and reliable. But not the greatest for mpg or performance.

That's the problem I can't really afford to buy a car straight up with money and this is the first guy that wants to trade for that body style

Well if you've got the money to try to mod the V6 you've definitely got the money to mod the dirt cheap 5.0 motor. I dunno, your money and I'm sure the guy who wants to trade wants to trade for a reason, to get the V8.

The 2005-2010 V6 is not like the 2011+ V6, don't let the awesomeness of the new V6s fool you. The 2010s and down are turds.
