02 gt trade to 97 cobra.

I've got a guy wanting to trade his 97 cobra for my 02 GT because he has a supercharger to fit my car. he has BBK headers, h pipe and flowmasters, comp cams, 3:73 gears, MSD coils and a super chip. has 365 hp. I don't know if I want to trade or not, what do you guys think?

I would ask for a dyno sheet proving his 365hp claim

Ditto. With those mods the 4v should make 320/330.

It's really up to you, which body style do you prefer? Base it's only about 40 hp difference. Personally I prefer the 99 04 body style, perhaps offer him for his supercharger?

I'd jump on the cobra. 4v>2v any day of the week. Even supercharged, a 2v gt could be beat by that cobra if the cobra had a little more in it.

Keep your wheels tho!

Yeah usually people dont give the actual whp making it seem a little faster than it is to sell it easier for those who dont know the difference.

Interesting how people find out those numbers anyway since not many people do engine dynos nowadays. He probably just added up all the numbers he was supposed to get from those mods.

If only all the numbers stacked up like people believe. If 3 things are supposed to give 20 each, you will probably see 3-35 max

Also depends on your motor you get more out of mods on a 4v than a 2v

I'm going to keep my car. I love my car more than anything and have put about $6,000 into it in 5 months. I have big plans for my car. I'm not so much worried on horsepower. I just want a good looking, good sounding car. thanks for the input guys

There is always going to be someone faster, so why not make yours more unique?

Those early 4Vs didn't have the performance of the 4V from the 01 cars. They're still good engines but the heads were different.

They have better heads than the 01 4v if you run them stock on a dyno the 03 puts up better numbers. But that's the 5 speed not auto
