Camaro turned Mustang?

I'm not one to add to a preference war, but I'm curious.
Does anyone have any funny stories about a friend who was into Camaros, but now is into Mustangs? Or Mustangs who is now into Camaros? The funnier the better hah.

My first car was a 3.8 v6 5-speed camaro. I though I was mr. Fast guy in it lololol

I now love my mustang more than I ever could have imagined. I fell in love the second i sat in It <3

The first car I had my license with (third car I owned) was a 99 Camaro V6. I enjoyed it and it never gave me any problems. I prefer my Mustang to it, but that is expected when going to a V8 and 5 speed. I'm not really someone who is just a Ford or Chevy person, I'm a car enthusiast and I will always love whatever car I have.

I've got a ka24e & a ka24de both motors are completely stock. I'm piecing together parts to turbo the sohc and my S14 may see a 2jz swap next year when I open my shop. Both cars have full suspensions, coilovers & 5 lug conversions. Well, the S13 is still waiting on 5 lug hubs and z32 calipers.

The S13 was my first car. That'll never leave my stable. That was my first big purchase. I realized two things on my 16th summer.

1. I loved the S13 and

2. The interest rate my Dad financed the car to me for was a rip off!

He sold me the car in '96 for $7,000 I gave him $2,000 down and he financed me the rest.

Lol, I said, Dad, who in the right mind is gonna pay 25% on a $5,000 dollar loan???

My Dad said, $1,250 is nothing. If you don't like my terms, get a bank to loan you the money.

I took every single day of those 12 months to pay him back. Lol, that'll teach him for trying to teach me a financial lesson! Lol

I was going to say the same thing. Back in the day (and still happens alot) if you had a Mustang it was "what do I have to do to beat a LS1" every other topic on the Mustang boards. I got a ride in a cam only LS1 Trans Am way back in the day and that thing was like a goddamn rocketship compared to my GT. Only thing that kept me out of one back then was the price for one that wasn't beaten on. They really tanked in price in the mid 2000s from what I saw and at that point my HCI Cobra could keep up pretty well and was good for what I wanted to do

I still sometimes think about finding a nice lower mileage WS6. Blasphemy I know and the interior is even worse than our cars but racing seats are universal and they come with a MUCH better starting platform minus the rear.

edit: Also when you have a 400whp car that gets high 20s on the highway going 80mph at 1800 rpm... Yeah...

I like anything fun to drive. I had a 97 Z28, 05 STi, and now an 01 Bullitt. Although my favorite car I've ever owned was my STi, my Bullitt is a close second.

My biggest issue with the Camarobirds is the interior just really is ****... And it also just screams 90s which I really never got from the SN95 stuff even though it was released in 1993... Cam only at 400+whp though and that deep overdrive T-56 is very nice.
