So far I love my car but there are a couple things I would change (and am in the process of changing eventually) 1. Stock dome lights are horrible and provide very little light, plan to upgrade to HID's 2. There is a lot of chrome in the interior around the vents/gauges that look cheap IMO.

I forgot to add the paint issues. There are several spots inside the deck lid, door jams, and under the hood where there isn't enough paint. Shows really well on dib.

the non functional taped on scoops... okay okay they are for looks... -_-
I would be much happier with a cowl hood or a plain hood then to have a fake hood scoop...
As well as the side scoops.. look cool but the Honda civic down the street bought some from walmart and taped them on his car... nooo they don't look cool. I will be looking for some bullit delete scoops...
does anyone know why the new edge has that terrible dash design?...
its like they did it so they can easily have it for right hand drive and left hand drive cars..
ride height + rims + interior those bother me as well....
but I love my car lol

The previous owner used the ceiling to put his cigarettes out so there is a few burn marks on the roof, There is a rust spot above the back left wheel, and the paint has chipped on the front bumper

The non functional side scoops. I like how they look, just don't like fake scoops.

2014 GT

I'm not crazy about the shifter. I'm looking into which one I should replace the factory shifter with. I'm also not crazy about the in-town gas mileage but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it.

I love everything else about it though.

I was driving this morning and the sun was at just the right angle to reflect off of the "aluminum" plastic on the steering wheel.

It was blinding.

Anyone know of any covers or anything for the 10-14 steering wheels?

*Nevermind* Found this - Mustang Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Spoke Accents (10-14 All) - Free Shipping

Is there anything else like these?

I wish Sync would notify me that I received an E-mail on my iPhone like it does when I get a phone call or text. Incoming calls and text both ring through my stereo, but incoming e-mail does nothing. Only way to know is pulling phone out and looking at it. The worst part is, it doesn't alert me through the stereo and it also disables the sound on the phone, so I get nothing. Is it only me, or does everyone with an iPhone have the same experience?

Sorry, not trying to be unfriendly, and I understand you not being happy about the communication issues, but IMO, Mustangs are about the ride and driving experience, that's all.

My apologies if I offended you.

BTW, your car is a beauty.

Here, I'll answer your question. Yes, I never receive any notifications when I get texts. It just vibrates. Idk why.

When I'm driving from one client to another, it's nice to know I got an e-mail because it could affect where I am driving to. Makes sense?

Thanks! Do you have an iPhone? If so, is your phone set on vibrate? I never use vibrate, just the ringer or silent.

Thanks. Actually, I couldn't have cared less about Sync when I bought the car. Never had it before and knew nothing about it. The Sync part of the Premium package played nothing into my decision to purchase the car. But since it was a Premium and came with Sync, I started using it and found it handy. That one feature not working properly actually is a step backwards from all of my other non-Sync cars, because at least in those cars I get an alert from my phone when someone sends me an e-mail. In the Mustang, I have no idea someone is trying to reach me unless I pull the phone out and keep looking. When I am traveling between clients, I need to know people are trying to contact me, either by e-mail or leaving a message on my 800 number which also sends me an e-mail alert. Not sure if your car is a Premium or not. If not, I could see why it really wouldn't matter to you. If my car wasn't a Premium I wouldn't care, but since it is, I would like it to function as I would expect.

I have the GT, not the premium. I drove both and decided if I was going to buy a muscle car it was going to have a shifter. My wife's car has the communication package similar to yours and she likes it. I just wanted my car to be a bit of a throw back, a sign of simpler days, so to speak. The dash gauges and controls are just that. The power not so much; its much better than most any of the old muscle cars including Ford's 429 & 460 engines and Chevy's 454. I'm glad I waited to buy this Mustang.

I know now why the premium gets better in-town gas mileage. It's too much fun pushing it a bit before changing gears.

And you don't hear your e-mail notification through the stereo, but you do hear the phone ringer and text notification?

And your phone vibrates when you get an e-mail even though you don't have it set to vibrate?
