My phone will ring through the car speakers. I do not hear anything when I get a text just vibrations, same with email.

I guess I'm a little better off than you since I get an alert through the speakers when I get a text. And come to think of it, I don't even think it's the same sound the phone makes. For phone calls, it is the same custom tone I added to my phone, the theme from Seinfeld. I'm using the default tone for texts, but a tone I added for e-mail. Maybe I will try using a default tone for e-mail today and see if that makes a difference.

Default alert for e-mail didn't make a difference. Guess it's time to try Googling it again. I tried last summer but didn't find anything. Maybe there is something out there now.

I hate when drying my car after a good wash I have to open and shut the trunk several times to get all the water out. I also don't like my car is so loud that forgetting to turn off my turn signal if it dosent turn off by itself. its really hard to see it during the day.

Only the cup holder placement, makes it impossible to have a bottle of water and shift

When listening to my music via Bluetooth I hear the email notification "ping". Never hear it when I just have the AM/FM on.

I don't listen to music through Bluetooth, mainly off my USB stick, sometimes radio. I do have music on my phone. Next time I will try listening that way and see if that makes a difference. At least I know it's not just me. Thanks for the idea!

This. Only a can in the back cup holder is possible, otherwise it gets in the way of shifting.

No dislikes about mine. Only dislike I have is what the mustang scene is starting to become. A bunch of stick on body panels and ricer overly loud exhaust. When the car does not have the nuts yo back it up

That the leather door pieces weren't wrapped. If they were they wouldn't peel off every 3 days lol.

This is the phon, NOT the car. Every car with any bluetooth radio, be it OEM or aftermarket, every sound the iPhone makes is also transferred. This is by designed since the music quickly goes down in volume for a split second so you can know you got a notification.

Android does the same thing but not for every type of notification.

Thanks for the idea! I used Bluetooth Audio today instead of USB. When an e-mail came in, the music volume lowered, I heard my e-mail alert, and then the volume went back up.

Thanks for the clarification, I'm not complaining about it. I was hoping that listening to music via USB would do the same with e-mail, but it only gives a sound alert for incoming calls and texts.

First thing that comes to mind = the bullish*t orange peel out of the factory. I've got a completely scratch-free paint job, but the damn orange peel just degrades it.

Yes, the only thing is I prefer to listen via USB so I don't drain the battery on my phone, plus it's so much more convenient. I know I can plug it in to charge while in the car, but will probably just continue using USB and glance at my phone every now and then.

all the attention my Race Red gets from LEO's and how the fact that it's "only a V6" does little to discourage them from writing me up anyways.

I would bet it has more to do with your feet than the color of your car.

The female end of the seatbelts on my 2014 sets down in a "hole" and makes it difficult to plug into.

Rev and hang in 2nd gear is something wrong with YOUR Mustang lol. Cup holders are an easy fix if you have a 94-04 car and are not bad in the 05-up. For a fox... find an armrest delete and mold a cupholder on top of that with fiberglass if you are feeling froggy.

Heck. I waited 35 years for the car to be practical. I love the little beast.

It would be fine with me if it didn't have an A/C, a back seat, or a radio.

It would be great if it had good room for LT headers, could change the Trans fluid easily, had a bigger gas tank, had a diff fluid filler hole in the back of the axle, had less air between the tires and the fender, a functioning hood scoop, a non-notchy shifting Trans would be nice, and the police wouldn't look twice.

But, it's cool to sit close to my wife even on long trips. And, it's easy and fast to wash. Parts are easy to find and install. Lastly, it looks and sounds swag!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎!
