I hate how difficult it is to change the diff fluid, the fill plug is jammed up in the back where you can't stick the bottle. Also how my 06 doest come with an aux input.

You can buy a $3 pump at any parts store that attaches to diff and trans fluid bottles.

2014 v6 automatic.

Absolutely love my car but there are a few little things:

1) My elbow sometimes accidentally opens the center console compartment when I have my arm resting on it. Poor placement of the button by ford.

2) As soon as I get going like over 30 mph, the automatic shifts all the way into 6th gear. so if I want to accelerate it kind of like bogs out a little unless I really step on it.

I'm wondering why I don't seem to have the issue of opening the console with my elbow. When I put it down on the console, my elbow sits behind the button (as in further towards the back of the car). Then again, I have T-Rex arms so that could explain it.

I don't have that problem, but my elbow is resting more towards the driver side half of the lid and not the passenger side half.

Hahah. It only happens when I'm resting my arm on the console while holding the shifter.

Love my 01 GT
But... hate the window switches, the shifter needs to be moved closer to me, my passenger always has to fight the seat belt(lol) the gas gauge is.... late? I guess..
And water gets stuck in the trunk and hood scoop and leaks it out later making it look dirty even tho I just washed it.

Still love this car tho

Hahha yes! My passengers fight with the seatbelt and get so mad it's hilarious. They always just re open the door to get it. And same with the trunck holding water and the slow gas gauge. Like when you fill up and the next mourning you start it and drive 2 mins and you have a half tank then 5 mins later it's full lol.

My gas gauge isn't like that.. mine stays on the full mark till I have 100 to 110 miles or so then drops like crazy, but when you reach the quarter tank mark you might otta find yourself a gas station. I remember when I first got the car I took it on a little trip, first 100 miles I was thinkin this thing must get good gas mileage lol, then it dropped quickly and it kinda hovered around a quarter tank. I drove it that way for a while and got a little paranoid so I headed for the gas station and on my way there I ran out of gas, half way up a steep hill.. which is embarrassing. And on my reverse coast down the hill to a driveway I was getting chased by a dog who eventually jumped on my car and put a huge scratch on my door. So if you got a new (to you) mustang, I advise you to keep it well above a quarter tank at all times lol.

When I put my phone in the cup holder of my '13 and close it, if it's standing up and down, I can't open the door back up. It's fing jammed in there.

Luckily my armrest wasn't locked, and I was able to use a pen to wedge in there and free it up.

Mine runs out as soon as the needle hits the red box on the gauge, and wen it's 100% full the needle is way beyond full it's strange

I hate that the aluminum hood on my 07 is corroding under the lip because of defective paint. Also I hate that it came with a fake scoop.

My 07 has an aux port in the center console. You sure you don't have one?

My e brake handle button rattles now when I accelerate. I can't stand rattling noises.

IT THAT WHATS BEEN RATTLING????

I've been looking for that rattle!! It really sounds like it comes from the center console. It only happens occasionally but only stops when I smack the e brake handle.

I never thought to lot at the button...

Things you don't like about your Mustang?

I wish the front seat backs in my 2012 convertible would remember what angle they were positioned in before being tipped forward. I hate when people flip the passenger seat forward and then I have to manually set exactly the way I like it every time.

I also wish the rear seat back folded down like they do in the hard tops. I leave the rear seat back folded down in my '95 T/A convertible all the time when not in use. It keeps the sun from cooking the seats back there, and I can just lay something on the carpeted seatback instead of putting something on the leather seat.

YES! I looked around forever on the center console area. I even tapped every part to see if it would stop. Then I randomly targeted the noise one day to the e brake button.

Weird thing is is it doesn't do it every time I drive, but when it does, it does it the whole time.

You described my problem exactly. It's not all the time but when it happens, it won't quit. I usually found jiggling the ebrake stopped it momentarily and thought it was the ebrake trim.

Thanks!

I also do not like that the cupholders are right in the way of the shifter. It's not impossible to shift but it's just annoying. At least that is one thing they fixed for the new 2015s.

02 V6 I hate the power steering pump whine. Pisses me off to no end. I've done everything to find a remedy for it, it Jst can't be fixed. It's all I hear when going through town in second at high RMP, regardless of music volume

I didn't keep mine that long, but 2 things I hated about it. First was the dash. I was not a fan at all of the instruments. Second, it just felt "big" to me. I came from smaller lighter cars, so it felt like a bus to me. One of the main reasons I got rid of it.

Looking at several Porsche cars Sunday, I saw that their brake bleeder was accessible from the outside of the wheel. The brake would be easy to bleed.

They are still making mustangs in 2103, I thought for sure we'd have flying cars by then.
