Yeah the Termi is my dream car. And I might be able to get one soon! But the Saleens just look nasty! A friend has a 01 Saleen making 550rwhp and it's a beast. Only runs 12.3 in the 1/4 mile though

Termi than a Mach 1. Wouldn't get a Saleen. I'd rather drive a Honda. I always thought Saleen ruined the appearance on any mustang they touched. Not sure how well they run though

I might lean towards a Saleen or mach cuz they are cheaper and I'm looking on Chicago Craigslist and can't find a single Termi!

The termi is awesome and it's my choice, but I love the Mach 1 platform. When you factor in price, the Mach 1 is hard to beat.

yeah dude, good luck looking on chicago craigslist man, they only ones you'll find here are pristine 20k mile cars for 25-28k, or 110k mile cars, that've had the tar beat out of uhm. I've been looking for 2 years for a reasonable one. Try Wisconsin, they've got a few cobras every now and then, and much cheaper.

No doubt a Termi, hope this is my next stang soon.

Not sure why all the hate on Saleens though. We honestly get 10 times the looks and thumbs up when my GF and I are in her Saleen replica.

03/04 Cobra, then the Mach, then the Saleen (since it's still a 2v)

Um, the Terminator. If you need a reason why you should probably light your Mustang on fire and go buy a Camry.

I know! I just wanted opinions. And looks like I won't be in the budget for a Termi. Just too expensive. Might be going the lsx route :/ 99/01 cobras are expensive around here too

Best bang for the buck powerful car is a LS1 Camarobird unfortunately. If you can stand the even worse interior than the SN95 has and the mullet jokes.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the interiors but they are pretty quick bone stock. Aren't they around 300+ to the wheels stock? An bolt ons even more?

They are 300whp bone stock with the M6. Cam only bolt on cars routinely clear 400whp.

And it would take and cost more to get 400 on a 99/01 cobra right?

You aren't clearing 400 to the wheels on a NA 4V without boost or a really radical setup.

Also the rotating assembly on the LS1 is good for a pretty good deal of power. Biggest issue is the rod bolts but Katech makes a hardened set you can literally change out with the motor in the car and the pan off. You pull the pan off change 1 bolt out of a rod cap you can get at, torque it and then do the other one. Then just bump the starter and keep repeating till you get them all.
