So you just get some forged pistons/rods on a 4.6 and your good to go!

The 4.6 new gen block is VERY STRONG indeed , not sure about the 4.6 below 2005.

They can take plenty too. Pretty much any 4.6 block is good for big power, its just the internals that suck but if I had my choice I'd always go with the Teksid to save the weight and the fact that its made by the same guys that make Ferrari blocks. Which is why I have a late run Teksid and OEM forged crank on a stand in my garage at this very moment.

Yeah the blocks on all the 96-later cars are very strong. Its the pushrods that are weak, even the 351 block starts getting sketch around the 700whp mark. Putting a DART in fixes that but also adds a slug more weight to the nose of an already unbalanced car.

Everdody is worried about hp with the new 5.0 y'all forget the weight part the 4.6 is lighter so I'll take my 4v 4.6 and save weight and run mod for mod with the new 5.0

Yes, he used the pushrods as an example because he knows the modular is better

I know he meant the Coyote, that's why I said ALL the 96-later blocks meaning the current run of engines included.

Wasn't it that dude with the blue new edge who kept on posting threads each time he fired up his car?

I just try to ignore the ignorance of most of the ppl on here. When I joined I knew very little about a lot. Now that I have learned a lot from this forum, I try to share my knowledge, but some ppl just can't be helped.

+1
But often times if you correct someone they take it as an insult rather than helping them.

There are companies with entire departments dedicated to fixing stupid which baffles me in this economy where you have a glut of job applicants I'm sure they could replace their dip****s with at least a somewhat competent worker.

We used to try to fix stupid in the military too but nowadays you get a few warnings and then out on your ***.
