The kit was advertised at 550hp but probably is actually less. It's the 3.4 pulley on the saleen supercharger

Like I said 10psi or less is safe.
Typical drivetrain loss is 15% if he's a stick which would put him right in the 460-470whp range give or take, not 525whp. And if he is running less like he says he's probably in the lower 400s at the wheels.

If he's an automatic the drivetrain loss will be even more but the car will be faster.

So figure if you are say making 525hp at the flywheel give or take that's around 450whp.

Yes I know 525 Hp at the crank with a 10psi boost I bet he is running at least 525 hp with a conservative tune the kit I have runs at 7 to 9 psi and makes 560 hp
with 93 octane and kenne bell boost a pump. Mine is an auto so 20 % loss or so
that would put me around the 450rwhp level.

I just re-read it was the Saleen kit. If that's the M90 kit there is not a snowball's chance in hell that's making 550. Hell I'd be surprised if it was making 500 but I'm sure its still a ton of fun.

500 hp is still a LOT of power no doubt you have to remember that the 2012 and below Selby Gt 500`s aren`t making much more than that and they are heavy beasts , but it depends what level kit he has
I just found this.

Brenspeed Stage 3 Saleen Package 530+ HP

530+ hp at 9.5 psi Stage 3 kit.

---------- Post added at 06:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:22 PM ----------

There is also a stage 4 running 11-13 psi at 580+ hp

Brenspeed Stage 4 Saleen Package 580+ HP

I can't wait till gladiatoro actually gets a blower and puts it on a dyno so that way he will shut up about making 500rwhp.

Also, I'll just leave this here

Stock 03/04 Cobra> Stock 5.0

Cobra can handle more power without having to built.
And a simple tune and pulley and It can see 450-480 at the wheels in 400ish$

And the 4.6s are the most modded
Without the 4.6 4c motors ford probably would've never made a 4v 5.0
The 4vs just showed how much better it made things.

Done.

Not true, the 4v 4.6 was made initially for Lincoln navigator iirc. The 2v 4.6 didn't have enough torque

Like I said 560Hp with kenne bell boost a pump/3.5 pulley same set up as mine , that's more power than a 2012 Shelby Gt 500 and less weight.

Brenspeed Stage 2 600 HP E-Force Supercharger Package 05-2010 Mustang *PLUS $500 REBATE*

The addition of these components raises the power level of the Supercharger to 600 HP at the engine! This is the most you want to put through your stock motor internals. If you chose to forget your motor and raise the boost levels on this supercharger kit to over 17 psi, making over 700 HP!

He's just trolling at this point. Best to just ignore and if he really does have a blower he's going to try to run at 500-600 he'll find out the hard way what happens to stock rods.

Just get a terminator , upgrade blower , run 20 psi and call it a day ... And still cheaper than a new 5.0.. Best platform built to this day, period

On the other end of the scale, rumor has it that Ford is also working on a twin-turbocharged V8 codenamed “Voodoo.” This engine could make up to 600 horsepower, and will likely power a range-topping performance model.

On the 3vs you have to go built. With heads/cams and alot of boost for them to be nasty. They are fun but alot of work to make them fast

Tbh a good tune can only get you so far. You never REALLY know how much your internals can handle until they go.. Then you know for sure

That is true if that happened then I would rebuild and forge the motor , then increase boost.
