Depends if you want chrome surround or not. Modern billet from AM (this is what i have) would need chrome surround, Roush I believe is a complete replacement.

If you want everything black, go with the latter and if you want to save money, get modern billet n you can plastidip your chrome surround.

If you want a roush badge on your grill as well, get it straight from roush.

I've also seen peoole who have blacked out their whole stock girl -including chrome surround and pony. It looked sick!

I went back and forth on this too. I came really close to getting the Roush. But in the end, I really wanted the grille mounted fog lights.

Roush looks better, but I bought the modern billet grill and will be plasti-dipping the chrome surround just because it's cheaper and still looks great.

Looks nice! How long did it take to install? I might be looking to ditch my stock grille after I get gears/tune done.

Not much to link.

Its a factory stock 2013 Mustang GT black grille surround (you can get chrome version also if your using a chrome grille)
Since my car is a 2013 body style, I needed a 2013-2014 grille surround.
2011-2012 would need a 2011-2012 grille surround.

American Muscle black billet grille insert.

space and line up the grille insert into the grille surround, mark, drill hole into surround, and attach grille. I did 1 hole at time, top first then bottom to make sure everything lined up and was spaced evenly.

Thanks! Took about 2 hours to do, main part was taking the bumper off. And yeah gears/tune I'm hoping should happen this year
