Radar detector

I'm in search of a pretty good reasonably priced radar detector...Something around $200 would be ideal, but no more than $300. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ill sell you mine for like 50 bucks.

As it turns out, if you don't drive like a dick, you end up not needing one lol

Unfortunately, you need to spend $400+ for a good unit. If u settle for anything less, you are buying some expensive false security. Save up for a Passport or Valentine, or search ebay/Craigslist.

I don't have a radar, never gotten a ticket, but I feel like if I get a radar i'll trust it too much and get tickets.

Lol thanks for the info. I don't really need it around where i live considering all of the lights.. you can barely even do the speed limit. I mainly want it for road trips and when i go on cruises with a group.

I don't speed on the backroads, cops aren't stupid and will hit you with a laser/radar after they see you go by so it won't even show up anyway. On the highway in NJ, if you aren't doing 90 in the left lane you are going too slow so no need for one.

I mean I honestly don't see the point for one unless you are one of those ppl who has to go 100 on the highway and on the highway a cop will have his **** turned on all the time so it works there anyway.

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.
