Turn down? Are you asking if we ever turned down our exhaust?
Do you mean make it quiet?

He means exhaust dumped with a turndown tip so the tips point at the ground instead of into the undercarriage.

If you proofread your posts it would be easier for others to understand what you're asking and be able to assist you.

Give the guy a break man...It is very clear that his English may be below average when compared to the rest of us. I understand he is hard to understand, but come on. We gotta' try to him help as best as we can.

That's what were attempting to do. Otherwise would have ignored the post completely if I wasn't trying to help.

I've got turn downs on both my Fox and New Edge. They don't bother me at all, but sometimes I do get an exhaust smell in the cab. But not enough to choke you out. Just a hint of it....lol

The sound and loudness will depend on the mufflers more so. I've got 40's and its fine for me. But its hard to talk on the phone. I can hear fine, but the other person always hears ***Mustang!!!!!***

---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:05 PM ----------

Edit: And I will say that it will depends on each persons preferences. If you normally don't like loud things (not saying the OP does or doesn't, just an example), I wouldn't recommend it. But I also wouldn't recommend owning a Mustang then either.

I ran dumps on my 91 for years. With Flowmaster 2 chambers, headers and an O/R pipe, my ears would literally ring after any sort of drive more than 20 minutes. Also you do get fumes coming into the cab when you are at a stoplight and idling that is kind of unavoidable.

I personally do not like running dumps after my experience plus nothing beats a nice polished set of tails or a nice sidepipe system.

I had turn a turn down tip ("just the tip") on my old VW, but it wasn't a dump. I did it just so the exhaust wouldn't blow onto my straight bottom rear valence.

Agreed. We're just here to help, not target the OP. I apologize if it seems that way.
