Angry No driving or modding

So freak accident happened to me. I can only use one hand to type so any mistakes just ignore please. I work at bass pro shop in archery and had a crossbow slip out of the press and crush my hands yesterday. I was stuck in between the bow and press and couldn't move. So after tons of screaming I finally had people rush to help. Long story short after about ten minutes of being stuck I finally yanked them free. I saw my right hand was dismantled a little and the pain almost made me pass out. They called EMS which came quick and took me to the hospital. Left hand just got a little nerve damage in my middle finger amd right hand got the worse. Amazingly no broken bones but a lot of soft tissue and nerve damage. Well I'm doped up on pain killers and have a splint on my right hand bored and can't put any of my new mods on. When I was in the press having to pry my fingers out I thought my fingers were done for so I say I got pretty lucky. I guess I needed a vacation because now I have some time off from work just spending it doped up at my parents looking at more parts haha.

Nice! We used to do those in middle school! We had a kid take one, attempt to run down the hall towards the bathroom, and when he got to the bathroom door, he puked blue gatorade everywhere. Then he walked back lol

Yea I'm just not one for being sue happy. If anything it would be the makers of the bow press for not having some sort of quick release incase of accidents like that. Even though one of the managers pissed me off. As I was getting rolled away she said "well you did this at a bad time" like excuse me do you really think I care about y'all losing a guy during Christmas season??

Apparently he was talking in the phone while turning into the back if the store. Which is why he failed miserably at making his right hand turn

Yea it pissed me off but I was in to much pain to say anything. Dumb 18 wheeler driver. I used to drive and that's the last thing on my mind was a phone call. Hauling 80k lbs is nothing to mess with

Ouch. Glad ur fairly ok. Yea, could have def been worse. Hope u heal up with no issues.
I was hit by a car (as a pedestrian) about 25 years ago and had a bunch of problems...severe head trauma was the worst. Was told I would never drive a car again. Jokes on them: I fly airplanes now! Lol!
Heal up bro,
Troy

Get better. Ignore the stupid remark the manager made. Most people are at a loss when something like this is said. It may have been meant as a joke that failed badly. If she does not normally act like an insensitive idiot, forget it. If she is an idiot all the time, ignore it and be above her level.

Yea I'm right handed. I can barely do anything. The manager saying that is just the management there. Most of them are only worried about themselves. I'm not worried about it. I got some time off to relax just to bad I can't do car parts
