Not a bad deal, i'd try to get it a little lower though. Definitely do a autocheck report and get the car on a lift to inspect undercarriage. Also pay to have a compression and leak down test performed at a reputable mechanic shop.

The cars are solid unless previously screwed up. 128k miles could be alot of previous screwing up.

It's not a huge deal. Guy had it stolen and insurance paid out now for sale. Some idiot maybe got a day or two of joy riding. Check it out but use the theft to negotiate not scare you away. Just my opinion

just sent in an NICB forum for someone to research the car and figure out if it was stolen or not and what came out of it. they are going to contact the original owner and get info as well.

If you are going to keep looking at the car inspect every single cubic centimeter of it.

I would definitely get a compression and leak down test done. If it all checks out good I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I have a buddy who put down 509whp with a ported blower at 101k miles
