The Mustang is on its way to a new stable

I was offered some good money for my 2004 Mustang GT and it's going to its new home today. I guess it's time for a new project. Sad to see it go but happy it's going to a good home. So do you think GT 500 or wait for the 2014?? I also might go to the dark side and get a Z06 they are ridiculous on motor I have a busty with one that has intake, cam, long tubes and full exhaust. His car makes. 582rwhp/ 508rwtq N/A and it's a beast at only 3100 lbs s

I love the car and mustangs period so staying with the mustang family would be the best thing but Z06s are awesome and that one sounds really nice. That's a hard decision.

I'd wait for ford to release the specs on the 2015. Then make your decision. The Z06 would be fun though.

Not to mention it's easy to make power NA with the Z06, build it up to 600rwhp NA then give it a 200 shot of Nitrous.

I'd say don't get caught up in one brand your whole life. Experience all you can, gain different perspectives. I finally went out and bought a Mustang after owning 90% Chryslers all my life. I think the C6 & C7 Vettes are badass, unfortunately, I have two drag cars in the garage and nowhere to put a summer-only ride. Now if I sell the whole racing operation in the future, a Vette or Shelby or Boss would be a nice addition. I definitely wouldn't limit myself to one company.

They're not as much fun as you would think.

I'd wait on the 2015 specs or even for it to come out and the prices of the 2011-2014s to tank but a LOT of ppl aleady hate the re-style so we'll see. I've been saying for awhile now that the 2011-2014 5.0s might be this decade's "terminator" as far as collectibility, desirability, looks and performance.

You cannot go wrong with a Vette from 97-onwards. I've seen some RIDICULOUS C5s for very good prices. Just gotta be patient. The C6 is really nice too and the LS2 variant is going to be your best bang for the buck.

Apparnetly Dodge, well "VIPER" now (separate brand like RAM) is going balls to the wall on the new car. We'll see. Its never as nice as the Vette of the same year but you never know. Ford went completely overkill in 03/04 with the Terminator.

I wouldn't call it a pos...but it's definitely not what your dreams thought. Extremely hot cabin, incredibly uncomfortable, completely unforgiving suspension and relentless powerplant. They sound horrible with exhaust and with the side exhaust its damn near impossible not to burn your legs everytime you get out.

Only bad thing with any vette is that every aftermarket part specific for the vette is extremely expensive
