I recently bought J&M weightjacker for my 02 GT. I'll let you know how it goes. It'll probably be similar for your GT.

I've been running their weight jacker lca's for over a year in my Cobra. Seem to be holding up just fine.

Lol that's the problem with posting stuff in this forum...

J&M is a good brand, and their LCA's should be comparable to just about any others out there. Personally id stick with metco, BMR, white line, or roush/ford racing but I always get the best and most $$$ parts even if I have to save months to get them. I always see myself buying something sub par and then still going back to wanting the part I didn't get. Example, I wanted RTR wheels. Ended up buying a set of 13 gt500s and didn't like them. Saw a set of charcoal AMRs and had to have them. Traded back to stock wheels+cash. Then sold stock wheels and bit the bullet to buy the wheels I really wanted. Live and learn I guess..

Get Steedas or MMs IMHO. I would not buy cheap LCAs.

The bushings seem good quality thus far. I had a pair of metco lowers and they were eating bushings twice a year. I make 500ft lb of torque and leave off the 2 step at 4800 rpms on bias ply's and these lca's have been just fine. Bushings aren't stiff enough to kill you street driving either.

I took a gamble buying them but for the price it was worth it.

LCA

Try SVE billet aluminum LCA from LMR. You'll love it. Great value for the price.

SVE looks good. It has natural aluminum finish but you can spray paint it. I think wheel spray paint will work. I paired it with Metco UCA and so far, it works very well for me.

I did not put relocation bracket yet. I have 1.5" drop as well with steeda superlite springs. So far no issues.

Yes, installed Metco. Got a deal in ebay for $250 but it turns out that the mount was for 2005-2010. I had to buy a 2011& up mount and sold the Wrong mount for $65. I still net out with about $70 savings than buying Metco at the dealer price. I will be adding the LCA reloc in spring.

You can't go wrong with BMR. I done a 1.5" drop and use relocation brackets also. No more wheel hop.
