I only drove home fr the dealer so far but I could feel a stronger response in lower rpms. Let's see what happens in the days to come. I got the tank filled w Vpower 93.

Should I send the procal back to FR for the $75 rebate or should I keep it just to be safe?

keep it. if you ever change tires or rear gears you can change the ratios to calibrate the speedo and set the trans shifting back to spec. Also can read and or clear fault codes. And if you decide you want to run gegular gas you can always reload the stock parameters, though that would just be wrong.

Ok..after a few days w this tune upgrade I can definately feel the difference..especially when it come to low end torque boost. Taking off from a full stop and passing have improved quite a bit. I recommend this to anyone that is considering it! It's well worth it!

Updated reviews now that you have had the tune for a while. I am about to get the FR power pack (FR tune, air filter, oil filter and axelbacks) and I want to know if it's worth the $800. I think I read your car is an auto...how did the tune effect sport shift mode?

It is definately worth the investment..lots more torque n power. The GT500 axle backs sound great n the beauty of it is that none of these mods voided my warranty. Definately recommend. Cheers.

Actually your drivetrain warranty was dropped by Ford and picked up by Ford Racing. And it went from 5/60 to 3/36. You need to read the fine print.

Oh really? I did not know that. Do you have the link to the documentation that states that?

They gave it to you. Like he said, read the fine print and you will see he is being truthful. Still better than no warranty at all.

I will contradict this contention, again. Yes, Frpp replaces the balance of your 3/36 on all powertrain components, which is better support than anyone. Nowhere in the warranty doc does it say your 5 year/100k main PT warranty is affected by this.

I think it's a 5 yr / 60k, but I'd still like to know this answer before I buy. Anyone have definitive documentation?

You won't find this specifically stated. Its just not specifically excluded, which matters. Honestly, every other tuning choice can have the effect of voiding your factory engine warranty so, you're miles ahead here.

If youre not up to the potential risk, however slight, dont do it.

It does specifically state that all parts not related to the installation of the ford racing part remain under manufacturer's warranty. So if you are adding a handling pack, it's pretty straight forward as to who is covering you and for how long. Tune the car and it gets quite a bit more ambiguous.

He wants it stated that the FRPP tune install dies not affect his 5year warranty and he won't that. He will find that it is not specifically excluded in the FRPP warranty or the manufacturers warranty.
