Bluetooth adapters for OBD2
I want to use the Torque Android App to read and display ECU sensor data in real time while I drive. You need to get a compatible Bluetooth adapter that plugs into your OBD2 port to transmit the signals to your phone. There are many options. Does anyone have experience with this and have a recommendation? I want one that is fast and can read a lot of PIDs, because I'm eventually planning on writing my own software for reading the data, including recording it. (I'm an engineer and a scientist, so measuring how the engine performance is being affected by mods is really interesting to me.)
I would have put helpful links to all these things here, but since I'm a newbie they are blocking my posts if I have links. So if you don't know what I'm talking about, google search "Torque Pro Android app" to see what it does, and "Torque wiki Bluetooth adapters" for a good list of many options.
