Tips for avoiding parking at an angle?

I'm curious to know if you guys have any rules of thumb for parking your cars so you don't end up at an angle (esp. if pulling in backwards). I'm a new Mustang driver after driving a car for 12 years that was basically a rectangular box, and the angles of the 'Stang totally throw me off. I feel like I'm asking how to tie my shoelaces here, but it really is vexing me. Do you guys have any tricks or tips for gauging this?
