Yep, with a 5.4L DOHC engine (6500 rpm redline) that was rated at 385 hp (287 kW) and 385 lbf·ft (522 N·m) of torque.

Its the same engine, but i belive the intake was different for the clearance.

The motor should fit, best way to see is have him pop the good and see how close the heads are to the strut towers.

Lots of ppl have 5.4L motors in Mustangs, the 2V 5.4L is almost a drop in.

Yep, well... maybe. The F150/expy/navi all went to 3V in the 04/05 timeframe. Navi actually went from 4V to 3V... Also comparing the Cobra R motor to ANY of those is like comparing Malin Akerman to Barbara Walters.

If he won't pop the hood he's lying to you plain and simple. Doesn't matter how much money he has. If he really DID have that much money why the hell does he have a clone and not a Real R or a black Terminator? Sounds like a grade a jackass to me.

New edge 5.4

He is lying about the motor. I have a friend who said he got a turbo on his integra. I have not seen the car since and he said he doesn't want to pop the hood.

But that 5.4 should definitely fit. It's the Lightning motors that won't fit but that's cause they are supercharged.

Another thing, the 5.4 is a VERY distinct sound from a regular GT, just have him crank it up, the 5.4 is a much deeper tone

Sent from my mobile device.
