Estimated Horsepower???

Just tossing around ideas and am wondering if anyone could give me a reasonable estimate of how much Horsepower this combo would yield. there is no real answers out there on the internet and am just looking for a good educated guess.

350. That's just my guess, others will know more.
With supporting mods, I'm gonna say 350

Want wanna research that head and cam combo for PTV clearence. Idk TF heads too well but a stage 3 cam usually is pretty large.

I wouldn't be surprised if you landed 330rwhp+ depending on the tune. I don't have much experience with the 5.0 striker kits either so now idea how much performance it adds. But just those heads and that cam alone will get you damn near 300rwhp.

Oh ok cool thank you! Yeah I'm going to research it but I thought the TFS heads could accept a larger cam but I'm not sure about the stage 3 so i will look into it thank you ColeJohnson

Guy around my way has the 5.0 stroker kit for the 4.6 with stage 2 mutha thumper cams and stage 3 ported heads with all the supporting bolt ons. With 4.30s a short shifter and slicks he run consistent 11.8s and lays down 386rwhp. Only exception here is his car is an 07 gt 3v. I know it's not our 2vs but should give some comparable numbers as an estimate. For being NA it surprises some really powerful cars. Also this is with a catted x-pipe so with an off road x he could pick up just a few more. O and he said it was astronomically expensive to do. He likes the fact of saying its a "5.0" but said he wouldn't do it over again.

Yeah I'm in it for the cool factor and I've priced everything out an can piece all block, trick flow heads, cams hardware and all for around $7500, so overall to me it's not that bad for a brand new motor and it's a 323 cubic inch which equates to a 5.3L so with transmission upgrades, drivetrain upgrades and fuel upgrades puts me a little below $10K. Yes I understand I could go FI but I honestly would just rather run a NA set up for the time being and it is my DD, I also work at A Ford dealership so the labor won't be a problem. Yeah sorry for the rambling lol

Yeah it's def cool. When I first heard the car I thought it was just a cammed mod motor then when he said he had the stroker kit I was thinking son of a ***** that's pretty sweet. It's one of those things you hear about but not ever see often. Asa for the dealership piece that's sweet! Certainly makes things a lot easier on that end lol.

Yeah that's the exact reason I want to to do it, just to be set apart from the crowd, but yeah it is nice I'm actually having longtubes and a x pipe installed by my buddy Saturday for the price of a dinner

What is the highest compression I can run on the street to use pump gas?? It's my DD so I would like a setup that makes the most power but is also streetable and doesn't require me to buy race fuel or E85 because the closest E85 is about an hour away

Some of the guys I run with hang around the 11 to 11.5 range to play it safe depending on their personal build. All I've ever heard with this is it's all in the tune. This would be especially important in your case because I think your previous post mentions potentially running nitrous. Also depends on whether or not your car is a daily driver at that point.

Well I plan on running NA for a DD so I wouldn't put nitrous on it until I had another car to drive so about the 11.1:1 range??

Yeah that would spud about right. Our stock compression ratio is around 9.4 so that's a nice bump in power there. Especially with the setup you mentioned in the previous post with forged internals and other ****. And I def agree with you on the nitrous. If it's not a daily then have at but if it is you'r *** better have something to get to work in come Monday morning if something was to happen lol

Don't know anyone running them but hears from other forums that people tend to like them. Other than the comp 270s there's 2 guys around me that run MHS stage 3 heads and cams from nick mckennry at modular headshop and a guy with a terms running stage 2 Crower blower cams. The crowers sound nasty on the 4v!
