Granatelli Motorsports

Okay so I'm trying to post in the right section (hope this is right). Joe Granatelli supplied our football team's jerseys this year (yes random but his son is on the JV team) anyway, I saw his 2012 SEMA camaro in our parking lot and decided to look Granatelli Motorsports up. I'm getting a tuner on Monday with Bama tunes but I wanted to get my car dynoed and tuned at Granatelli.

So I was wondering if any of you have had experience with GMS (located in Oxnard, CA). If not I would like to know stories or experiences of friends if you have them. Also, is a dyno tune that much better than an email tune?

He's banned on multiple forums, look up why. Biggest one is failures of his inferior copycat parts on multiple vehicles. His K member is a direct rip off of Maximum Motorsports and built like a bag of *** and that's just one example.

Article

He's also been sued over control arm failures that caused wrecks.

I had no idea. He did seem shady. We didn't get our jerseys til week 6 and always hassled our coaches. Thanks for the insight

Yeah he's a grade A asshat of the highest caliber. If it was me I'd go elsewhere for your car and seriously who the hell does not get kids their jerseys till halfway though the season? I'd be PISSED if I was a parent on that team...

Hahaha his son is a clear reflection of him. A little pompous and annoying. But yeah especially for our senior year it was a dick move. I'll take definitely take it elsewhere. You're a big help thank you

I'm glad to hear that you have a Bama custom tuner on the way! You'll love the Bama tune. What tune option do you plan on running? I run the 93 Race tune on my 2011 GT year round and absolutely love it.

Feel free to datalog and send them over to us if you'd like us to look for any revisions that can benefit you! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

You're welcome! Let us know how you like the 91 Octane tune, I'm excited to hear your feedback. Don't be ashamed of the V6, they're definitely still really powerful cars!

PS: I like your taillights . The Gen5 lights look great!
