Was wondering I know buying shorty headers won't make a diff for my car.... But I heard you can put on headers from like a 95 or 98 mustang and they will fit my car??
Is that true do I have the right year? My headers are so cracked that I have them welded so many times the muffler shop refuses to weld them anymore
1999-04 have exhaust manifolds, it's why they crack and don't look too good.
I believe its 94-98 V6 mustangs that have them, my 1995 V6 has factory headers.
It's always better to just replace than it is to weld, the metals already weak welding it is just a temporary fix.
Look at some local salvage yards for a 1994-98 V6. There about as good as aftermarket shorty headers.
You could paint them while they're off too.
Is it better to get the 94-98 manifolds or should i just get the ones for my 04 there both $150 and I seen some pace setters shorty headers for $135...
