GT Exhaust

Here's a question for you guys. Eventually I would upgrade but at the moment I want dual exhaust. A friend has offered me his entire GT exhaust from the cats to tips for $75. I know some parts (mufflers) are interchangeable but can I mount the whole GT system and it will look right (tips sticking out where they should)?

You will just need to cut the "Y" pipe out after the cats, and splice in the "H" from the GT. You can't use the system from the cats back because it won't mount up to your down tubes from the exhaust manifold.

I put a GT exhaust on my V6. I ordered an X pipe from American Muscle. You'll need to order two muffler hanger from them as well. You will also need cut the bumper out on the drivers side. There are templates available on line. I am very happy with both the sound of the car and the increase in performance. Everything will bolt on (i had mind welded at a muffler shop). Good luck.
