Late Christmas/Early Birthday

Already ordered my tuner and it should be arriving via UPS tomorrow, hopefully no weather delays! Fingers crossed! Finally got the MAC dual exhaust conversion kit in stock as well! Ordered it as soon as I saw it!

Sorry guys. This post really had no meaning, just letting my excitement be heard by someone. I've officially caught the modding bug. I'm addicted!

Yeah. Guy that had it before me took it to Maaco. Lasted a year and a half. Parts of it are red, some are almost pink, it's hideous. Guy at maaco said he'd repaint it with a 2 yr warranty for $950. I walked out. I'm going to someone I trust for something that will last.

I think that's where my cars previous owner did. Different shades of red too. There is also a place by my house that paints your whole car for $300

Yeah. At one time they did a decent job for under $200 that would last 5 yrs or so. Now they want $2000 for that same quality.

I remember that ****... ambassador paint job. Lol. Though in all honesty if you did the prep work yourself and just had it sprayed/cleared it would come out ok.

Eh possibly. But they only use a few layers of crappy paint and maybe a layer of clear coat. Paint isn't cracking or chipping, it's just faded. I found a place that'll do it for about $1000 so I'm gonna let them do it soon.

$1k for prep/taping/good paint/good clear? Or is that you bringing it in sanded and you tape it up yourself? Even if you have to do some prep $1k for a good spray with a good paint is not bad.
