Tune up a Time .... I think :-? Which spark plug .....

Hello Mustang people! I need advice asap. Last night as I was driving my 08 mustang, the engine light came on. I've never had any issues at all and at 97,500 miles I know it's time for a tune up. Would the need for servicing cause this light to come on. I'm too scared to drive it anywhere b/ci do not want any damage done to anything.

97k is a good time to replace the plugs. You're right! They probably need it...
I recommend the factory Motorcraft spark plugs.
Its hard to say if that is related to your check engine light being on though.
CEL on is usually related to a failure of the emissions system somewhere. If your car seems like it's still running good it probably won't hurt anything to drive it until you can get it repaired.
If you can retrieve the code and post it, we can try to narrow down what the CEL is trying to tell you.

I'll check out Napa Autoparts for sure .......... Well, Autozone ran a test on my car and it was my Coolant/Antifreeze level was low. Haha. BUT, I have scheduled a tune up for sure.
