Am I the only one that likes the Pony?

It seems like everything I read about the Mustang grill includes blacking it out and/or removing the chrome Pony. I like the Pony symbol and it keeps the nostalgic idea of the original Mustang.

Am I wierd?

No I do like the pony I had mine in for a while but eventually I put the snake on my grill . A lot of my cobra friends have a blank grill .

I like the pony as well, haven't understood the push to hide it although it does look good on some cars with the black out.

On my car with the CDC Performance Grille there isn't a pony and with the big open center no place to mount one. I bought a fender tri bar and put it on the same side as the GT500 snake goes.

I put the Roush grille on mine and love the look but do miss the stock fogs and look sometimes.

Will most likely add the tri-bar and pony at some point.

I like the chrome pony but I like the tri-bar emblem much more. The 1965 my grandpa drove me around in when I was like 8 had the tri-bar emblems on the fenders, dash, and seat backs. It's a nostalgia thing for me. lol

My bad I said ponies. I have the tri bar ponies on my fenders. They're actually prolly the ones you're talking about considering I got the Scott drake 64-66 pony fender emblems off jc pony parts haha

I love the pony on the grill. Bought my mustang without one so the first thing I added was the pony emblem!

I like the pony on the grill. I like the Boss 302S grille better for my 13 though, I want it.

Love at first sight

When I walked up to this MCA I fell in love. It just looked perfect to me.
I loved the grill.

Other then the fake gas cap it was the only pony on the outside of my Mustang.I did take care of the gas cap.

I love my grille emblem. My 2005 has the Pony Package grille so it looks identical to my 1966.

I love the tri-bar emblem. The big pony looks nice, but makes me think of the V6 models. For me its not a matter of not liking it, but wanting to look closer to the cobra instead of the V6.

I'm actually not a fan of the pony. It reminds me of a sixxer.I like my cars to look aggressive so its GT badging or the snake for me.

I won't change my pony unless I get it airbrushed to compliment the color scheme of my Stang.

How can the grille emblem make you think of a 6 cylinder car? Every Mustang has had the running pony in the grille, GT or 6 cylinder. The only years that I know of where they changed that was 1969 and 1970 where they got the tri-bar emblem in the grille.

Yes-66Sprint200-Yes

You are right on this. Other then my 2012 MCA
Anyway, What is wrong with a six???? When I went to Orlando Speed World I turned a better ET then two GT's in the quarter mile. All they did was spin tires and sound great.
There sure ain't a thing wrong or bad about any Mustang weather it is a four, six or eight. They are all good at what they do.( KEEP THEIR OWNERS HAPPY)

I love the snake but sure ain't gonna put it on my car. That is unless I can hit the lotto and drive to Shelby America in Las Vegas and have my car done by Shelby. If someone will donate $10,400.00 I will get it done so I can have the snake legally put on it.

My car when I first bought it.

I may have misunderstood the original question. I assumed he was reffering to the pony emblem that goes on the side badging. I am well aware that most Mustangs came with the pony in the front. But I even try to replace it if I can. I had a nice cobra head ton my first Mustang.

Ok, I should have put for most years, or as far as I know. All the foxes round me have cobra bumpers which did come with a pony emblem. lol
