I purchased a 91 2.3 LX notchback and it's going to be my long term project.. But as of now I'm gonna drive the strong running 2.3 into the ground... So I want to work on suspension mods and what not.. But everything I look up says for 5.0 or GT.. Excludes 4cly.. For example I really wanna lower this baby and carve a few corners.. What are all the differences in shocks/struts/springs/sway bars/ ect ect ect.... Thanks in advance!

I think that what you'll find with the lowering springs is that they won't lower the car as much, and, they will have a higher spring rate for the heavier V8 cars.
Same with the struts, they'll, mostly, be valved for the heavier cars, but, you can get adjustable shocks/struts to solve that..
Sway bars, you can, probably, get anything "under the sun" to suit your needs.

In your case, I might try to find some stock V8 springs and cut them to the height you like.
