Roush RS

I'm thinking about upgrading to a 2014 roush RS from my base 2012 v6. Why get the RS and not the gt? Because I'm going to college next year and would like to save as much money as possible while still having fun. And maybe the thought of a gt will motivate me to work harder. What's everyone's view on the RS (v6)? Please positive feedback. And does anyone have one that might be able to talk about it a little and give there impression??

I think someone on here has one, but the RS is all appearance upgrades, no engine upgrades, and I don't even think they tweaked the suspension.

That's probably it then, the upgrades are minor. In my opinion, you'd be better off modding the v6 you have.

To me it seems like more a lateral move and less an "upgrade" as you could keep your 12 and just make it a clone for way less money than buying a brand new v6 Roush. I've never driven one, but I did actually see the v6 Roush the other day and I sort of felt bad for the owner. It's a Roush, which is awesome, but not fast, so there is always that.

That and the only "upgrades" are performance tires, and 1 inch lowering springs. Stick with your 2012 v6.

I know but idk I think I'm caught up on the idea that I would actually own a roush. May not have a v8 but it still will be a "roush"

In your opening question, you made mention saving for a v8 or something along those lines. Would you rather have a 14 v6 Roush or a 13 GT, because I bet they are similar dollars.

I'd save for the GT and if you really wanted to down the road you could make it look like the RS. I have a 14GT and would never consider getting anything v6. Insurance is a ***** though.

Haha yeah. My v6 is tuned and has headers and most of the bolt ons and it's enough power to stomp on all the other high school kids who think they know anything and everything about cars.

I know what you mean though I miss my v8
