Need Help: Trying to find my 2007 Mustang GT

I purchased this car new in California in 2007 from Palm Springs Motors in Cathedral City California.

I owned it for 3 years until I lost it in my divorce in 2010.

I moved from California to Avondale Arizona and was sitting at a stoplight and it was hit in the rear end causing $2,200 in damage to the rear bumper cover which was replaced.

It is a 2007 Mustang GT in Grabber Orange, Automatic, Leather, all power, the Mustang was basically loaded. When sold it only had 14,000 miles. It was perfect.

It absolutely devastated me to lose this Mustang and I am hoping to find it.

Once my divorce was pretty much final, I was broke and Ford Motor Credit repossed the Mustang and sold it at auction in Phoenix, Arizona. It sold for more than what was owed to Ford Motor Credit and they issued me a check for $1,100.00.

I am trying to find the Mustang and hopefully whoever owns it now is a member here.

The Vin# is:1ZVHT82HX75285554.

Any info would be appreciated....

Ive owned 2 other Mustang GT's since then and I currently own a 2013 GHIG but I have so many feelings for that car that I lost that I dont know how to explain it. It was with me through the most difficult period of my life and then it was gone. All I had left after my divorce was that car, lost my home, lost my money and then Ford took it. My daughter was to get that car when she turned 16, she is 13 now. I know this sounds crazy but I knew I shouldnt have posted this thread because of all the emotions that came back to me just now, its unbeleivable. There is a connection with that car that I cannot explain.

If I can find it yes I may try and buy it for cash.

They are asking $20k for the car and they are gonna email me photos here in a few minutes....$20k is too much, I told them I wanna verify the car and possibly offer them cash.

you should be jacked rite now. whats the chances honestly that I join this forum today, you post that thread today and I find your car for sale... its a sign!.. sell your car and buy that car... the 07 is your baby .. I am sure your new car is amazing but how amazing would it feel to be in your old car again after thinking it was gone forever. Nows basically your only chance or you will probably regret it

considering your a 40 hour drive from them I guess it wouldn't be practical to say you will pick it up. tell them to work with you on it. split the difference at 15 and you pay shipping or fly there and drive it home. Might hurt the bank a bit but in the end the additional 5000 might be hard to justify for a 07. but its YOUR 07 so if you can find the money just bite down and get it back. .. but yeah going rate for the car is 14,900

They said they are "buried" in the Mustang and I told them thats not my problem. I offered them $15k and I will pay $1k to get it here to Florida, so we'll see...

They claimed they didnt know it had been wrecked, hit in the *** end, I told them I still have all the original paperwork when it was fixed and where and what parts were replaced...
