Post A m e r i c a n m u s c l e $ 1000

I think this should be a sticky.
I see a lot of Threads asking what parts people should buy for beginning to build there mustang.
I think everyone can agree $1000 is not much money however it can buy you some things.
Post what you would buy for an unmolested Mustang from the popular americanmuscle web site if you have $1000 to spend.

Ford Racing 4.10 Gears and Bama Tuner (99-04 V8) $ 619.99
BBK CAI and 78mm Throttle Intake Combo (96-04 GT) $444.99
60 dollars over but I think this would be the best option for first mods

I would probably buy a new set of bullitts with some wider tires. Other than that, maybe a offroad h?

This is a bit more rhetorical than the Beginners Guide to Bolt-Ons I think

That's a nice little chunk of change! You can definitely get some good mods for that price. Picking mods are sometimes difficult, considering there is so many great options and so many different roads you can go down. You could go straight for the power or you could go the Suspension route, you could even just do nitrous like listed above.

If I was about to spend about $1000 on my new edge, I'd be going after all the bolt ons. I'd recommend going with a set of Gears, Long tube headers, O/R X-Pipe and a Custom tune. This will add a good amount of power, torque and acceleration! This is just my opinion and what I'd recommend. You really can't go wrong!

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!
