lowering in the front.

Is it bad to just lower the front by 1.5" without doing anything to the back?

and i saw on other threads that you would need a panhard bar? i think. would i still need it if just the front is lowered.

I was told I needed a pan hard bar when I lowered 1.5 but I didn't need it. I rode on them and broke them in and got an alignment and it's still center.
