I dont think my car looks that bad does it ? I for some reason prefer dark colored cars like back than catchy bright colors like yellow red or green
Just my opinion though
Everybody has different tastes
Thats the fun in owning a mustang you can do whatever you want with them and customizing them to your pleasure
Nice!

honestly don't see the point of this thread, if you don't like something just don't do it to your car, that's it. No need to make it known to the world.

and i also prefer dark colors compared to the "look at my car!" colors lol if that makes sense.

I like black on black honestly...don't care if it's played out where ever the eff it originated from. You could say chrome is played, it's been around forever, so has the color red. But guess what, until you pay for my car and the mods, you can kiss my a$$ as your opinion equates to piss in the snow.

I think if you start to see a specific look as much as the "blacked out/murdered" look, it's because it works. Applying it to your car doesn't make you any less of an enthusiast.

In regards to styling, I HATE chrome. Always have. Not that it's played out, just that it looks awful. I want to look at the car as a whole, rather than have my focus drawn to a mirrored finish on a specific part.

I'm planning on doing the "panda" look to my car eventually. White with black accents and wheels. I'll be getting rid of the chrome pony in the grille, I've already dipped the chrome 5.0 emblems in black. I'm also hoping to be able to do some powder coating or painting to some engine bay parts in a deep, bright purple if I can ever decide on one. It's been done, but it looks good and will still stand out in a crowd and that's fine with me.

When you're in a community as large as the automotive industry, or even just Mustangs for that matter, you're going to run into a lot of the same. There's nothing wrong with it. Unless you're a shop going for publicity or money, there's really no need to worry about repetition. Not everyone has the means to mix some crazy color and respray an entire car. The color spectrum is so small that only a handful of mixtures or combinations can even be considered "tasteful". Hell, we've been customizing cars for the past 80-90 years. As far as outward appearance goes, it's all been done to death.

I realize it's probably blasphemy on this forum, but....no. And here's why:
