Did i make the rite decision?

okay so I sold my 99 mustang V6 with low miles on it
and bought a 200 Mustang GT with 150,000kms on it
witch I think is roughly 93k miles.
Although the GT is in pretty decent shape the V6 was mint
There both slow in stock form lol just wanted a better power
plant.
Should I have kept the Sixxer and put the extra money I spent
into making is something. Considering if I paint the V8, tint the windows ect. even before mods I could have put so much more
into a car I already had. Is the GT really that much better?

First there is no right decision it all up to. And I guess yea to most ppl would agree that upgrading to GT from sixxer is the "right" decision. And it look great čĹŹ

Respectfully, What the hell does it matter, you already sold the mustang. So does it matter if you made the ÔÇŁrightÔÇŁ decision? This isnt tech, try posting in the general discussion.

That's a great idea actually .. I would if I could find one
I hear with 4.30 gears they are the fastest thing on the road.

Faster than a gt that's for damn sure. Full bolt on 2v still wouldn't hang with a lightly modded 4v

Lol they have potential definitely. It's the same 4.6 motor after all. But I'm sure there's a lot more 4v winning videos out there hahaha.

We can go on for hours posting up those videos going back and forth

Also if my 2v motor ever goes I'm not forging it. I'm going 4v even if it stays n/a

Lol
It keeps it from getting boring...

GT is better than a sixer... any day of the week.
Just like a 4v is better than a 2v...
Coyote is better than a 4.6

There's ALWAYS something better. And if there isn't, someone is working on something better... RIGHT NOW!

It's a V8, of course you made the right decision (for once in your life). Mods will net you larger gains and it may be a slow V8, but you can still make it sound amazing.

Hey hey.. Let's not stick all the 4.6 2vs in the "slow category." D:

OP, My GT has over 120k or so on the body. Everything else is new. The more you replace the newer the car becomes!! Haha.

I know its pretty sad. Sometimes I wait for my friends to leave first from work because I know they will line up with me and go for a pull and I'm afraid to get smoked by some ones moms car... and as you know that's possible with all newer vehicles

Good think is.. With full bolt ons and were at *maybe* 300 rwhp lol

That's why people with 2v all supercharge their cars. It makes the horrible head design negligible at best when you shoot right up to 400rwhp

Knowing this though..
I'm still going 4v.
A mark 8 block with continental c heads.. My engine runs strong right now but I'm planning a good build for the future

Apparently neither of you have driven a mid 80's 5.0 Camaro. You made the right decision if you want something fun with a lot of potential.

180hp/230ftlbs....at the crank. My 88 auto hit a best of 16.9 in the 1/4, lol. I was better at bench racing in high school. All the other kids at the car wash thought my alternator whine was a supercharger.

Those were the 5.7. Still complete dogs though, lol. Scumbag Chevy putting a 5spd behind a smallblock v8, and giving it glass internals. My first was that 88 305 base auto, lol. My dad took it out of storage a couple years ago and still drives it around when the vacuum leak lets him.

What do you guys consider full bolt ons?
I tried to buy a mach 1 .. a blue one..
offered him 10k cash and he kinda just laughed at me...
told me the car is 100% original and worth 3x that...
-_- highly unlikely imo but I let him have his glory

CAI, exhaust, Intake, things that are easy to Bolt On!.. Heads, Cams, power adders are not Bolt Ons!..
