Talking Parts Are Almost Here....

I got a notice that the last of my suspension is finally on the way. Been waiting for al most six weeks on:

1) Whiteline Adjustable Pan Hard Bar with Brackets
2) Whiteline Adjustable Upper Control Arm with Bracket
3) Whiteline Adjustable Lower Control Arms with Brackets.

Now if only the Snow and Ice will go away so I can get my car out of the garage.

No, I have a mechanic that does that. Too Old to be crawling under anything that 4 tires, two legs is a different story.

Thanks for asking.

If you don't mind my asking, how much does a mechanic run for this final stage of the install?

Normal labor charges in my area, Indiana, around $73 per hour. He always gives me a break. Which is really good, I went to him and told him I would supply the parts, simply because he would have to charge me sales tax. Getting no sales tax and %6 off from American Muscle Adds up.

To date I have spent a total of $6,875.08 total. $5654.71 in Parts and $1,220.37 in Labor.

Car is snowed in right now. As soon as I get it to the shop and done I will post it here for you.

I am getting ready to order Whiteline parts from AM, but six weeks is not cool. I want to have the car ready for the big rally in eight weeks, and that give me no time to install and test before a 3000 mile drive. Did you order from AM? Any reason for the delay?

It appears that everyone had the same idea I had. I was waiting for the bracket for the Whiteline Pan Hard Bar and the Rear Lower Control Arms. Didn't really make much difference, I haven't had my car out of the garage since late November. Either rain with hail or damn snow and ice. Now just hoping the ice and snow will go away so I can get my work done.

I asked them to hold the order and ship everything with my order. I also told them, in only part of my order was in, send someone else the parts if they needed like the Control Arms or whatever.

Very frustrating for me. I just started to order several parts, only to have all of them listed as out of stock. I am all set up to go to Charlotte in April, and I would prefer to do the Tail of the Dragon with a decent setup.
