Best Engine Combo?

Let's have some healthy mustang discussion.

What's the best engine combo for a mustang?

This can be any year for any model..

I think a mark viii 4.6 with continental c heads with 97-98 cobra cams and a Mach 1 intake would be a good engine to build.

Idk much a forged internals but that wouldn't be a bad thing

Maybe buy a used (ported) eaton from a termi guy and throw that ***** on there too.

What do you think?

What's the best 351w combo?

What about a push rod 431 taken up to around ~463, ported heads and proper intake for the large duration cam design. Use a Acme, Holly, or Edelbrock self tuning EFI and high power ignition.

Assemble powertrain Shaken not stirred into a 84-85 Fox body with roll cage and reverse brainless with high stall converter and trans brake. Add 100+ shot for entering the very low 10s.

The goal would depend on what you want, easy street or pro strip?

Ok, the one I posted before was for the Strip to get to low Tens. While it will be drivable on the road, you would still in practice trailer it to the spot the folks shut down the hi-way for the TV cameras to film a semi-reality show
It likely would Cost $5 just to start it.

Nice Street machine for less than a new GT; find 2007 manual 4.6 GT. (pick race red or dark blue, add white over the top dual stripes) Port heads, install long tube headers and Hi-flow CATs so its still legal to drive or sell. Add Hurst shifter.

Get deal on pull off Roots type twin screw blower, Steeda Air Intake, Steeda or MPT tune for the blower. Might have to do some remote tuning, or dyno tune it on-site.

Based on a few 2007s I have seen for sale with as low as 19K miles, this should be doable for about $24K.

Or if you have a little more to spend, instead of a pull off blower, Get the one on AM ' site. Larger injectors would be needed and this street kit has them in it and smog legal:

That's still the best way to put a Vortech on your car, but a lot of people know about that now and mark up their head units now

Does your engine shake, rattle, and roll while at cruise speed doing this silly thing shutting down a V8 and only running on 4 cylinders? Do you suffer oil consumption, exhaust smoke, embarrassment? Are you sick of the buzzing sound from every dip stick in your motor waiting for them to break off? Does your motor make your food go bad? Make your girlfriend leave you? If you have suffered any such Symptoms, we can get you a settlement....

Yup but for all the brackets and stuff the prices at superchargersonline.com stay the same I think. So how much you end up spending really depends on the head unit
