Throttle Body Advice!!

Ok, I've read all kind of reviews all over the internet, but they seemed a little too good for a $250 part, and I don't think I saw anything about them for the 3.8 on here anywhere. So, my question is, would I get any real noticeable gain by getting the BBK 65mm throttle body, or would it be a waste of money installing?

Is your car lightly modded then yes it would be a big waste of money. To be very honest with you I would not get that till the very end if you are doing a full bolt on and I don't recommend doing a full bolt on either.

Good, thanks for the help dude! I'm still debating on getting headers or not. I'm definitely getting a posi and Ford 4.10's. but other than that, the heavier mods wont be coming for another year or so. Now I can do some cosmetic work lol.

Yea, she definitely needs a little work lol. But I'm getting there. I think I'm going to pass on the headers for now being that I doubt I'd see any noticeable gain. So I'm going to get her looking good lol. Thanks for your help buddy!

you can get some short tubes for around $50, look for a 1994-1998 V6 mustang at a salvage yard. Also, a 8.8 with posi should be about $200-300 at a salvage yard.
Short tube headers are mostly for looks if you want to see a gain get LT headers(won't pass emissions testing though)

To add on this post you can pass emission with long tubes, it depends if you either tune it so you don't have a cel or it depends on where you live in the country. Some places don't have strict emission laws.

We don't have emissions testing here so I'm good on that. I really don't want long tube. I've been changing my exhaust set up constantly. So I'll probably just stick with my current set up. My stock manifold is in good condition. What would I get a 8.8 off of in a scrapyard that's interchangeable?

I put a tb spacer on mine today and noticed a difference. The stock tune idled 200 rpms. higher and got a faster throttle response. They are 65 on Ebay
