4 to 5 lug help

I've been told the major reason to change to five lugs are safety (the four lugs are inferior/weaker). But I'm trying to keep the car as stock as possible and I have a set of enkei four lugs. At what point is the conversion no longer a good idea, but necessity? How much abuse can the fours take...just dd abuse, stop light racing, etc.

If you upgrade the engine then it would be a good idea to swap the brakes but other wise its not needed
