Well compared to modern day cars they aren't very fast, but they're cheap and fun cars to mod. The dyno in the low 230whp range and full bolt ons will net you in the 260whp area. Watch out for the 99-00s because they did not have the upgraded intake manifold with the aluminum crossover. I would go for an 04 because they have the upgraded heads with 8 spark plug threads instead of 3

I paid $8k for mine with 52k on the clock. I would expect to pay in the $6k-$8k range for low 60k-120k mile range. A lot of it depends on your location as well

The nice thing about these cars is that they are fairly light and small, with simple bolt ons they can make decent power and keep up with newer cars for the most part.

My brother just sold his 01 Vert for $1200. It needed a Auto Trans, needed top redone and the infamous passenger window was off track..

Good luck on your travels. IDK if you'd be interested in shipping a Stang from Philly. But there's alot a decent deals on ones that need some work. Im happy with my 96 GT after the mods.. Runs amazing and has pull through every automatic gear. Lol.. I paid $1800 + $2500 in parts. The installs were a breeze. Like with one hand tied behind my back.. Lol

Miles isn't as important as how well it was maintained tbh.
