UDP??

Why can't I find a UDP for my 1999 3.8L? I've searched high and low. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

820117 ASP Underdrive Pulley 99-00 3.8 V6 Mustang
It only adds 1 hp unless you rev your engine higher than hell

Took this off our sight in a sticky:Other mods such as underdrive pulleys, lightweight wheels (all else being equal 18" wheels/tires weigh more than 17"), flywheels and driveshafts can improve acceleration by reducing parasitic load and rotating mass. However if you are the sort that never "floors it" and always shifts at 3k rpm then don't bother; you will never know they are installed. Their benefit is only realised under hard acceleration and mostly in the lower gears. I consistently hit the rev-limiter in 1st if not paying close attention.
Get a short shifter or tuner. A tuner will gain you about 3 miles per gallon. A short shifter is shorter and you shift faster.
I got a UDP But, I got it for free. Built 5 and the 5th one was free.

I was looking at all the lightweight material. So out of curiosity will I notice the difference in acceleration even in my automatic?

I just received mine today for my 01. Big thing to remember, the rubberISH material that bonds the outer ring of the balancer together can shift and/or deteriorate. Hence, I needed a new balancer anyway. I found the cheapest price for an ASP udp from 'Alper Motors' off the net. $234 shipped, Summit wanted $308...I thought it was a typo at first, but it arrived today. Yours being a 99 model is different from mine...
