What else to do to a v6 to add as much power as possible

Mods are
-High out port heads (port and polished)
-long tube headers
-mild cam (up sized)
-stage 2 clutch
-tweaked transmission (2nd and 3rd are power gears)
-tempered steel gears
-not stock rear end 7.5
-straight pipe exhaust

What can I do now to add the most power for the money. I know it's a v6 but my parents won't let me get a gt. I'm stuck and can't decide...

I heard all the 8.8 does is to be able to handle more power if you do like a swap or turbo/supercharge it. And what do you mean by "fi"

Sorry, for the interruption. But, it means forced induction. A term for turbo chargers. The 99-04 8.8 with factory 2.73 gears will work fine with Fi. It is the 8.8 with 3.73/4.10 gears it does not work fine with. These gears are ordered and put in by professionals.
Skyler do you have an automatic or manual?

"Fi" means Forced Induction - turbo, supercharger or nitrous. The 8.8 not only is stronger but has a posi traction or traction lock. This locks both back wheels so that you get more grip while launching and 2 wheel burnouts!

The 99-04 8.8's also had 3.27 gears not 2.73's. 2.73's are in 94-98 8.8's. If you find an 8.8 from your year GT it will have 2.73's.

Thanks for the correction. The 94-98 has 2.73 gears The 99-04 has 3.27 gears. The 99-04 rear end makes the tires stick out 3/4" on each side and looks phat.

Get a short shifter. It makes you shift faster. It's on sale!

That's a great write up but are you sure the 8.8 from 99-04 is 3/4 longer on each side? I heard it is 1 1/2 inches on each side which is a total of 3 inches shorter.

You are right. LOL I found 1 more dummy, just like me, who wrote it was wider. Noob mistake. But I would spend the extra 60-$75 for wheel spacers. The gear ratio change is worth it.

Why would you need wheel spacers? He has a 1998 mustang so if he would put the 99-04 GT rear end in it would stick out 3" wider. I don't know how that would look but if he got a 94-98 rear end the gears would be lower most likely 2.73's but it would fit correctly. He is going to want to change the gears to 3.73's eventually, so he should get a 94-98 GT rear end and before he installs it change the gears.

I forgot to take my meds today. They chemically balance my brain.
It starts to become opinion.
The AM rims, Cobra, and Roush rims are 9" in the front and 10 1/2" in the back. IMO the extra 1 1/2" would look normal to the average performance Mustang enthusiast. I have Cobra rim replicas and they are 9" all the way around. I will upgrade this winter to FR500s with 10 1/2s in the back. It kinda leaves the rear end lacking fullness. This is for the 99-04. I do not know how it looks on the 98.
He wants to fi (in the future)and does not want 3.73s. I would not do a supercharger the M90 is a pain in the butt.

He does not know the cam size so tuning is hard. He does not have the right pistons with ported heads to do decent boost.
