Installing 2013 V6 Aero-Shield?

Hi folks, on page 231 of the 2013 owners manual for V6/V8 Mustangs, it says some cars are equipped with an Aero-shield under the engine. This sounds to me like it would save Gas Mileage from reducing drag, and keep a cleaner engine bay from road trash spraying up.

Is anyone familiar with this or have one? I would like to know If I can just order one from the dealer and I can install it not even having to use a wrench? the owners manual says remove "fasteners", these seem like the ones on the bumper covers that just snap out.

Are you talking about the rock guard that keeps the bumper held on or the piece you gotta remove to change the oil filter? I think it helps with downforce.

Do what I'm planning, make a under body pan out of polycarbonate

I'm sure yours has one from the factory. Look under the front bumper if you can see your oil pan you don't. It is the hinged part with 3 5/16 bolts that need to be removed to change oil. It's hinged at rear

All Mustangs have this shield. Have you had to change your oil yet? If you do the oil changes, you'll quickly see this shield, as it has to be lowered (not removed) from its reward side to gain access to the oil filter.

It's shown in this picture, but it's part is not labled:

Hi Bucko, I have had the dealer do the changes and tire rotation at 5K intervals after the first break-in change at 3K. . So far I haven't had to pay for one yet. Ford gave me one free, the dealer gave me one free, and the extra mods I had the dealer do earned me Ford points that paid for the last two and I still have enough to cover the next one in spring.

When I saw the owners manual say: "your car may be equipped", I figured I likely did not have it.
