Dealership Repair Question???

So I think the gears went out on my drivers side window. Its still under warranty, so they told me to go to the ford dealership. Will they mess with it if my car has an o/r x?

Yes, because the x pipe couldn't have been what caused the window motor failure. It's still under warranty.

SixBanger is right. Federal law says a dealer cannot void your warranty because of aftermarket parts. They can only refuse to fix the problem under warranty if they can prove that an aftermarket part was the cause of the problem.

definitely won't affect your warranty.

Does your window not go up and down period or if it just slow? I ask because on my mustang, my driver side window is slow on the way up because it gets slowed down on the rubber trim, and i have to use some silicone to free it up every now and them.
