Mileage doesn't matter. As long as all service is up to date. If it needs updating and you do your own work, then that's a GREAT RIDE !

Google "Common Problems" for that year. You'll find out all the common problems and then you'll have an idea of what you're in for. I say grab it. If you enjoy keeping that Monster fresh!"

I think I'm going to go have a look at it. I just love bullitts I would treat that thing like my baby I've been researching them for a while now. I have a v6 automatic mustang right now do you think gas would be much worse on a v8? Thanks for your help!

Bullitt

For reference, I got mine with 139k on it for $7800 out the door at a dealer. And I average 13mph in the city but 21 on the highway.

100% depends on the weight of you foot... Lol... Perfectly tuned, I'm sure you're only looking at a 15-20% increase on your monthly gas expenses. My 96GT gets 25mpg when I just let it idle and it still goes with the flow of traffic. I get 12-15 mpg when I'm laying on the throttle. But you can't drive like that all the time. Cops every where...

The interior alone is worth it. It's amazing, and you will never need racing seats. Seats hold you in very nicely.

Did you have it tuned properly? I got 4.10's and with the stock BAMA Tune, I get better gas mileage than with the 3.27's and no Chip. All my vacuum hoses and emissions components are tip top shape!! Not even an exhaust leak. Keep it tight.. My gears contributed to the fact that my motor works way less now

I have a BAMA 91 street tune on it right now. But I think it's still running a bit rich. And I have 3.27s

I had an exhayst leak before the O2's, my vacuum lines weren't tight enough, leaking valve cover gasket (on the pcv side and a vacuum leak is a vacuum leak) but after I corrected all that I got got 20% better fuel efficiency and mpg. My ignition and emissions components are 100%. And I have 3 choices of tunes. I just turn that tiny dial and "OH YEAH!!" I only get 25mpg on the gas saver setting. I know handheld SCT tuners are wayyYYY beter.. But I really like my set up. I don't race, I just like to mash on the pedal on nice days on roads that have no traffic.

That sounds like a good deal... if it hasn't been beat to hell, AND, like Mos said, if the maintenance has been kept up reasonably well.
Post some pics. We'd love to see it...

Yeah man. The usual small stuff that wears out is inexpensive and fun to install. Check for leaks of any kind, obviously rust and that all the body lines are even. Research the Carfax report on your own. That's about it
(I know the Orings and gaskets inside the oil filter adapter/cooler commonly leak) but they have rebuild kits for $50. Mine only leaks during freezing cold temperatures. But I'll get around to that. Sometimes the coolant and oil mix if its worn. Super Easy inexpensive fix.
