Power wise it will be minimal, x is more raspy and h is deeper. I recommend looking for YouTube videos and listening to as many as you can

Basically..
X pipe: better HP gains by about 3-5hp & sounds more like a race car.
H pipe: little less hp gains & sounds deeper!

Yeah, that's what makes me want the H pipe, not a huge fan of that super hollow sounding X pipe.

Matching with Borla LT, off road X (maybe H), pypes bomb axle backs and resonators off a GT.

+1

I vote H because I like a deep muscular tone

That's gonna sound mean man!!! I had a similar set up on my only 3.7. I had bbk LTs/X pipe/pype bombs/resonators & it sounded soooooo mean!!! The resonators made it deep!! I can imagine how the h pipe will sound instead of the x..I vote H!!! But if u decide to go with x pipe trust me it'll sound amazing!!

Yeah, I'm hoping the resonators I am putting on will balance out the raspy X pipe... Just not a fan of how raspy it is... I just wonder if I should switch to H to lower the tone... Looked up YouTube videos, but as we all know, the sound on those videos does no justice.

Do u have LTs/X pipe/pype bombs combo right now? Yea that rasps like crazy!!! I couldn't take it past 3k RPMs or it was obnoxious!!! I would add the resonators 1st & see how u like it..that's the combo I had & it wasn't obnoxious but it was loud & had a nice deep tone!! If u still want it deeper after the resonators then look into a h pipe but I think resonators will make a HUGE difference!!

Do u already have the resonators?? I got mine from autozone they were 22in. The longer they are the more rasp it cleans up & deeper it gets!

I don't have them yet. I'm in the process of buying some, and from what I get out of looking around, putting the GT resonators is best... A lot of trucks have glasspacks and stuff on YouTube, sounds deep, but not sure of brand to go with, so I'm just trying to get stock GT ones...

Yeah, I have the LTs and O/R X with Pypes. Trying to see if H will lower it, or if resonators will do the trick in keeping the X... I just want to get away from the hollow rasp sound... Going for deeper... Any suggestions?

Another problem is I live in Europe... So I can't just go to auto zone and buy parts... They aren't into modding here, too expensive.

Id suggest putting resonators with the combo u have now..it takes away the hollow/rasp & gives it a more deeper tone! Start there & if ur still not happy then try an h pipe! I used some thrush glasspack mufflers (which are the same as resonators) that u bought at autozone. They were cheap like $50 for both. U can try checking at ur local autozone if not the GT mufflers will also do the trick!
