We're actually not in the Tuning world to set/break records. Bama tuning is in the industry to deliver a safe and powerful tune that is perfect for bolt on applications and very reliable. As I've said before, we've tuned more Mustangs than anyone else in the world and have had great results.

If you remember a few years ago we were the first 2011+ V6 into the 11's, that was definitely a record! We also have some really cool shop cars. They may not be 1000+ Horsepower and record setting cars, but Project MMD has a Vortech Supercharger and runs 10's in the 1/4 mile, Project Blackout is running a Hellion Twin Turbo kit and runs low 10's, our 2011 GT runs 10.42@130 on a 150 shot and much more.

I hope this helps..

Ahh! I must have been day dreaming about the Hellion Twin Turbo kit I want to install on my 2011 GT. We actually have the Hellion Single Turbo kit on Project Black out. The car makes a ton of power and really is a blast to drive!

Sorry for the mix up. We do have a few employees here running the Hellion Twin Turbo kit, though. A member of our Bama team runs that kit with a fully built motor and makes around 900RWHP and should see somewhere around 1,000 RWHP this spring.

How reliable is that TT system for a DD?
Sorry for the hijack! Wait. I will add something related! My tuner did a before and after install of my bolt on '14 (with BAMA hybrid tune) and told me it was spot on. Not much left on the table...and he tunes a ton of Coyotes. LaMotta Performance.

I must say that was a very unique, honest answer about what Bama is about. Bama's goal is not too set world records for fastest mustangs. There goal is to provide safe, reliable power gains too enthusiasts but key words of SAFE AND RELIABLE!

Performance enthusiast's like myself and thousands others are not looking too set world records or have the fastest mustang. I personally was looking for more power in my mustang but not at the expensive of pushing safe levels just to go another few tenths faster. Many people don't have the extra funds to rebuild a stronger and better engine should it implode and spend thousands of dollars extra.

Clearly its highly profitable too produce tunes like bama because look how huge they and AM have become. Look at the success AM has accomplished by not setting a bunch of world records in the mustang world. Are there tunes more powerful than bama out there. I'm sure there are but someone has too ask themselves. Does one want safe, reliable power gains? OR, Does someone want too push the limits of the engine and gamble with thousands of possible repair dollars all to squeeze out a few more HP for your bolt on modded stang?

Do you feel lucky punk? Lol! I say if your someone that has an extra 50 to 100k set aside for repair bills, push those limits baby. If someone has millions in the bank and don't care about money, push that envelope.

I'm thinking of that same combo or I may go back with bama. The x4 looks sweet.

The x4 looks sweet but is it really worth it for the average person? It's not hard to transfer tune files and you just load the tune up and don't touch the tuner again for months. Datalogging may require a tuner but once again it's something you won't use that often to pay $100's for

Idk, I need a tuner for my CAI and exhaust, so I'd say I need one.

I mean is it replacing the x3 that's $379 from AM? If there's no increase in price then never mind, definitely get it

Isn't it gonna be $400? That's what LMR has it listed at.

That and I would rather not borrow a laptop to update or reinstall windows with boot camp to update. And for $20 more it wipes the floor with the previous model so that seems to be a good deal.

I didn't see where you could email the datalog from the device but that would be convenient.

Still undecided if ill tune but the wifi update makes my situation easier to manage.

We just probably make a thread about the x4 instead of hijacking this one but.....
No one mentioned that I can use it as a obd2 gauge? Or did I misunderstand something?
